Stripe payment gateway is one of the most prominent electronic payment gateways that enables receiving payments via Visa and MasterCard credit cards, in addition to electronic wallets. It is characterized by a high level of security and stability. However, it is noted that it does not support most Arab countries widely. Rather, its support is limited to the United Arab Emirates only.
Therefore, Stripe offers the Stripe Atlas service to Arabs, helping them create a commercial registry in the United States of America, specifically in the state of Delaware, which allows citizens from all over the world to register companies with a Type C commercial registry, to be used for registration in Stripe payment gateway and benefit from all its services. Stripe Atlas is responsible for all legal procedures and steps related to this context.
Establishing a commercial company for your electronic project using Stripe Atlas
First, the Stripe Atlas service requires an upfront cost of $500, which is paid only once, and this cost covers the legal procedures and steps related to creating a commercial registry in the United States of America. In addition, this service includes an annual fee of up to $100, which is paid for account maintenance, tax costs, and renewal of legal licenses.
You can create a separate commercial company using Stripe Atlas by entering the Stripe atlas website , then clicking on the “ Start Your Company ” option that appears in the main interface, as shown in the following image:
You will enter your account details, which include your email address, full name and password, and then click the “ Create Account ” button:
After that, go to your registered email to activate a Stripe account by clicking on the “ Verify Email ” button as shown in the image below:
You will be directed to your main account control panel on the Stripe Atlas platform, where you will be asked to click on the “ Let’s go ” button to begin the steps of creating your own business, as shown in the following image:
In the first step, you are asked to choose the appropriate business license type. You choose the Limited Liability Company license , which is suitable for setting up small businesses. Then press the “ Continue ” button.
Next, you are asked to type the company name identical to the local business name. Then you click the “ Continue ” button.
Then, you move to the “ Description ” tab, which asks you to write a brief description of your business within 140 characters. Then indicate the link to the official online store. If the site is not officially launched, the user’s own data can be attached to give them access to the store. Then click on the “ Continue ” button as shown in the image below:
After that, you are asked to write the company’s official address in detail, including the country, governorate, zip code, and other details. If there is no official company headquarters address, you can rely on your home address. After that, you click on the “ Continue ” button as shown in the image below:
In the next step, you are asked to write all the details of personal information about the founders and members of the company, such as name, date of birth, and detailed address. Next, you must determine the official partnership ratio between the company founders to document it in the commercial registry. It is also required to define the roles and responsibilities of each founder in the company.
Next, you have to select the type of commercial registry registration plan for your company, where you will find two options: “ Expedited ” and “ Standard .” The Expedited plan is suitable for citizens within the United States of America only. Therefore, it is preferable to choose the “ Standard ” plan.
Finally, you are asked to review all the data you entered and write his name as an official signature on those documents. Review the account details, and when finished, continue by clicking “ Continue .”
After completing and confirming all the previous information, you will be directed to the payment completion page. You will now be required to pay the commercial registration establishment fees at a cost of $ 500 :
After completing payment, the information you entered will be processed by the Stripe Atlas service. All the official registration details you need while registering a new account with the Stripe payment gateway will be sent to you within 2 to 5 weeks.
After your account is approved by Stripe Atlas Support and all legal formalities are completed, you will receive your account credentials. This data includes commercial registry information and all documents necessary for authentication. You can use this data to register with the Stripe payment gateway and benefit from all its electronic services.
